The crashes then get progressively worse and I’m eventually getting artifacts all over my monitor as it fails and I have to restart. The wifi adapter had no win10 drivers. Driver Agent is a piece of junk as are most driver finder tools and should be got rid of, obviously its no good as its giving a false reading.
The chipset drivers i use came from Microsoft when I clean installed Win 10 on this machine. I have ordered the Win 7 upgrade which I assume will be out around the end of October, thus I’m thinking that I ought to get “my ducks in a row” now.

Windows 10 and Gigabyte in Installation and Upgrade. The computer randomly crashes, especially during operation of games. Maybe Windows would install IDE drivers for it. So much for the idea that Win 7 and Win 10 are not that much different in driver-land!

Have you also used your HD makers bootable test utility? You and others tested ram, did you use this tool www. If this driver isn’t working properly what kind of problems might I see?

I don’t know what a testing program is. Here are what the two drivers look like. Now all is perfect! Driver updates are only neccessary if it cures a known bug or provides greater functionality. I wanted to clarify this lest anyone conclude as I did that the Microsoft Chipset INF drivers were the root cause of my troubles.
I Installed the same Win 7 chipset drivers that i’m running on my Win 7 installation. All of them give the yellow!
